CRESTVIEW — Act 4 Murder's next dinner theater production, "Killer in the Kitchen," is scheduled for Aug. 29 at Samuels Roadhouse, 114 John King Road, Crestview. Seating starts at 6:30 p.m.

FORT WALTON BEACH — Performances of the theatrical production "Nunsense," a musical comedy, begin this weekend.
The play, directed by Don Goodrum, follows the efforts of the Little Sisters of Hoboken, who need to raise enough money to bury the last four of 52 nuns who died of botulism after eating botched vichyssoise.
Performances are set for Aug. 14, 15, 16 and Aug. 21, 22 and 23 at Stage Crafters Community Theatre, 109 Miracle Strip Parkway S.W.
Friday and Saturday shows are scheduled for 7:30 p.m.; Sunday matinee at 2 p.m.

OKALOOSA ISLAND — Hispanic Fest 2015, a family-oriented, cultural and educational festival that showcases Hispanic folklore, music and food, is scheduled for 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sept. 26 at the Emerald Coast Convention Center.
Additions to this year’s event include a fashion show and a presentation by Tallahassee’s Theater with a Mission. The “Happy World Kids’ Zone” will provide face-painting, games, clowns, magicians and more.
Businesses sponsorships are available and vendors’ spots are still open. Event proceeds benefit the Annual Emerald Coast Christmas Miracle Needy Children’s Fiesta.
"Hispanic Fest 2015 provides an invaluable opportunity to reach out and market to the growing Hispanic community of the Emerald Coast and overall North, Northwest Florida and Southeast Alabama region, as well as the large quantities of Non-Hispanics expected to attend," an event spokesperson said.
