OPP, Ala. — Lurleen B. Wallace Community College in Opp recently recognized students named to the 2014 Who’s Who Among Students in American Universities and Colleges.

The following North Okaloosa residents earned spring semester academic honors at Lurleen B. Wallace Community College:

Tyler Smith of Crestview has been named to the University of Akron's spring 2014 dean's list.

Melissa Molyneux, a senior Spanish education major from Crestview, has been named to Malone University's spring-semester dean's list.

CRESTVIEW — Crestview High School teacher Dana Baum's advanced placement European history students could share classroom screen time as they search for, find and compare answers and information.

BAKER — Leaving Baker School, which senior Malcolm Griffith has attended since kindergarten, will be strange.

CRESTVIEW — Evan Stegner, recipient of an Auburn University presidential scholarship and a True Blue scholarship for Auburn alumni's children, says he looks forward to studying engineering this fall.

BAKER — Baker School students are learning more about computers as part of the science, technology, engineering and mathematics curriculum.

LAUREL HILL — Chloe Collinsworth is University of West Florida bound.
