According to a news release issued today by the S.O., the victim said she and Johnson live in a car at the Wilderness Landing Park campground on Wilderness Landing Road in Baker. She told deputies that during an argument on Wednesday Johnson grabbed her by the mouth, causing her teeth to cut her lip, and then grabbed and shook her by the head.

A short time later, deputies spotted Johnson beside the car at the campground. When he saw law enforcement, he ran into the woods and refused to surrender. A S.O. K9 team was deployed, located Johnson, and took him into custody.
