It has been a busy month for the Emerald Coast Zoo in Crestview. The zoo recently welcomed the first giraffe born in the city, Mutombo, on June 1. Mutombo, born two months early, stood 5 feet, 10 inches tall at birth. Since being born, he is already 6 feet, 4 inches. His dad, Dikembe, is 16 feet tall.
