County strongly opposes possible carbon dioxide storage project
Because of major health and environmental concerns, the Okaloosa County Commission on Tuesday agreed to enlist the aid of federal and state lobbyists and elected leaders, and possibly file litigation, to fight a proposed carbon dioxide storage facility that might be built in southeast Alabama.
