Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office deputies executed the search warrant on Wednesday after locating incriminating information during an analysis of a computer software sharing process.
Christopher Vogel, 38, of 128 Kipling Drive, was charged with possession of child pornography and taken to the county jail.
During an ongoing digital forensic investigation, investigators found evidence on Vogel’s cell phone that he had sexually abused a child and produced child pornography at his residence.
On Friday, the OCSO added charges for sexual battery of a victim under 12 and eight counts of production of child pornography. The judge has since denied bond for Vogel, who remains jailed.
