NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
TO DETERMINE WHETHER THE SALE OF THE FOXWOOD ADDITION SUBDIVISION WATER UTILITY ASSETS OF OKALOOSA COUNTY, FLORIDA TO THE CITY OF CRESTVIEW, FLORIDA IS IN THE PUBLIC INTEREST.
The City of Crestview announces a public hearing to which all interested persons are invited. Such public hearing will be held to determine whether the acquisition to the City of Crestview, Florida of the water utility assets owned by Okaloosa County, Florida within the Foxwood Addition subdivision in Crestview is in the public interest. The public hearing shall be held as part of the City Council regular meeting.
The public hearing will be held Monday, May 23, 2022, at 6:00 p.m. or as soon thereafter as possible. The hearing will be held in the City Hall Council Chambers, 198 Wilson Street North, Crestview, Florida 32536. Any members of the public who wish to participate in the public hearing are welcome.
All customers of Okaloosa Countyメs water utilities within the Foxwood Addition, the City of Crestview, affected property owners, tenants or occupants, and all other interested persons, shall have an opportunity to be heard concerning the proposed acquisition, and to comment on the economic and environmental impacts, service area, alternatives to the Cityメs acquisition of the system from the County and any other matters of concern. All such persons shall also be entitled to file written comments with the County.
If a person decides to appeal any decision made by City of Crestview City Council with respect to any matter considered at the hearing, such person will need a record of the proceedings and may need to ensure that a verbatim record is made, including the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is to be made. The City of Crestview adheres to the American Disabilities Act and will make reasonable modifications for access to these meetings upon request. Requests may be made to the City Clerkメs office (850-682-1560) and must be made at least 48 hours in advance of the meeting in order to provide an accommodation.

COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT (CDBG)
DEADLINE TO SUBMIT REQUEST FOR CDBG FUNDING AND NOTICE OF PUBLIC MEETING
The City of Crestview is preparing the 2022-2023 Community Development Block Grant Annual Action Plan and is accepting requests for funding until June 20, 2022, at 5:00 p.m. Requests should be submitted by email to CDBG@cityofcrestview.org, or in person at Crestview City Hall 198 N Wilson St, Crestview, FL 32536.
Application forms are available on the City of Crestview website www.cityofcrestview.org, or at City Hall at the address listed above.
A public input meeting will be held on Wednesday, June 15, 2022, at 5:00 PM in the City Council chambers, located at City Hall, 198 N Wilson Street, Crestview FL.

PUBLIC NOTICE NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on June 7, 2022 @ 8:30 am or shortly thereafter in Okaloosa County Courthouse, 101 East James Lee Blvd., Crestview, FL 32536, a public hearing will be held before the Board of County Commissioners of Okaloosa County, Florida, at the request of Brandon and Nicole Watson, to consider a resolution to vacate that portion of Broadview Circle lying between the intersection of Broadview Circle and Willow Drive to the west line of Lot 15, Block C, Harvest Hill Phase V as recorded in Plat Book 10, Page 81 of the Public Records of Okaloosa County, Florida. Section 26, T-4-N, R-23-W, more specifically described as:
That portion of Broadview Circle, bounded on the North and West by lots 8, 15 and 16, Block C; and bounded on the East and South by the East one half of lot 29, the entire widths of lots 30 through 34 inclusively and the South 87.31 feet of lot 35, Block A, Harvest Hills Phase V, as recorded in Plat Book 10, Page 81of the Public Records of Okaloosa County, Florida.
