The U.S. military completed its withdrawal from Air Base 201 in Agadez, Aug. 5. The departure from AB 201 was completed more than a month ahead of schedule and was facilitated by the transparency and professionalism of both U.S. and Nigerien forces.
919th SOW trains on Gunship in Alaska

Vast plains within a mountain valley house, a simulated enemy complex and vehicles within the military range of Joint Base Elmendorf. Thousands of feet above them, an AC-130J crew from the 5th Special Operations Squadron struck targets with Hellfire and Griffin missiles, salvos of automatic 30 mm and 105mm munitions from the aircraft’s guns.
AFSOC bids farewell to Command Executive Director

Plater, a member of the Senior Executive Service, served more than five years with the command and possesses a combined 51 years of federal service.
