Nineteen-year-old Crestview resident Javarius J. Lee, of the 1200 block of Northview Drive, was arrested on Thursday on charges of kidnapping and robbery with a firearm stemming from an alleged incident in Niceville.

Crestview resident Steven R. Gardenier, 41, was arrested today on a felony charge of aggravated animal cruelty after he allegedly used a pellet gun to shoot a stray cat, which suffered paralysis and later had to be euthanized.

Malachi L. Watkins, 22, of the 200 block of East Oakdale Ave. in Crestview, was arrested on Monday by Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office deputies on 25 counts of possession of child pornography.

Nathan L. Sanchez, who is a civilian Air Force spouse at Hurlburt Field, recently was arrested on 30 counts of possession of child porn.

Taj Tariq Tamboura Robinson, 35, of Fort Walton Beach, was sentenced to 13 years in federal prison after previously pleading guilty to conspiracy to distribute controlled substances, two counts of distribution and possession with intent to distribute controlled substances, and conspiracy to commit money laundering.

Laurel Hill resident Seth Dewayne Talbot, 45, has been sentenced by District Court Judge T. Kent Wetherell, II to six years in prison after previously pleading guilty to possession with intent to distribute more than 50 grams of methamphetamine, possession of a firearm in furtherance of a drug trafficking crime, and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.

Two women and three men were arrested on various charges today after members of the Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office Multi-Agency Drug Task Force executed a narcotics search warrant at 15 Elm Ave. SE in Fort Walton Beach.

An Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office deputy narrowly avoided a head-on collision Saturday night with a driver who was traveling in the wrong lane and without his headlights on.

At 8:30 p.m. Sunday, the Crestview Police Department responded to the FLA Convenience gas station at 698 N. Ferdon Blvd. in reference to a person who received a gunshot wound to the lower torso.

Three people were arrested on various drug charges after a narcotics search warrant was executed on Tuesday at a residence at 111 London Ave. in Fort Walton Beach.
