Tyson joins the Crestview Police Department K-9 Unit
The Crestview Police Department recently retired K-9 officer Sonic.
Sonic’s replacement, Tyson, was introduced last week in a ceremony at the Crestview Police Department. His partner is Officer Tyler Dean.
Chamber to honor local businesses at awards and installations banquet
The Crestview Chamber of Commerce is currently taking nominations for the Best of Crestview in several categories including large business, small business, non-profit, etc.
The winners will be announced at the Chamber Awards and Installation Banquet on June 11.
Support for former missing autistic teen pours in
Khrysti Jenkins has seen an incredible outpouring of support in Crestview and beyond since her son went missing on May 6.
Aiden Howey, who is a 14-year-old with autism, has a tendency to wander away from his home, and from May 6 to May 7, he was missing for 22 hours.
Crestview students out to catch big fish
On any given weekend a group of Crestview High School students can be found on a lake somewhere in Florida trying to measure up against some of the best young anglers in the state.
Ayden Paxton has been fishing since he was 12 years old and soon the 2022 Crestview High School graduate will be taking his fishing skills to Webber International University in Babson Park where he will be a member of the Warrior fishing team.
