Stacy Grant admits she wasn’t always a fan of math, but now she teaches the subject at Shoal River Middle School.

“I love to change those misconceptions about math because I was one of those students,” she said. “I hated, and usually you hear, most students hate fractions. They hate word problems.

Stacy Grant is impacting students at Shoal River Middle School inspiring and encouraging them to learn math. Grant is the SRMS Teacher of the Year.
