Rotary wing tour spurs curiosity in aviation

Duke Field – From the top of the air traffic control tower, kids scanned the 360-view as aircraft converged on the airfield. This occasion was their first glimpse into the world of aviation.
Niceville Scouts BSA Troop 553, gather around the UH-1N Huey helicopter inside the 413th Flight Test Squadron at Duke Field, Fla, January 4, 2024. The 413th FLTS worked with the scouts to help them complete a preflight inspection on the Huey helicopter to earn their Aviation Merit Badge.
