Rose following in mom’s footsteps with Baker weightlifting team

20 years ago, Gracie Simmons was one of the first athletes at the Baker school to compete in weightlifting under then first-year head coach, David Oglesby. Now, 20 years later, her daughter Michayla Rose is following in her footsteps as a weightlifter at Baker under Oglesby.
Michayla Rose, a Baker senior, is hoping to get on the podium this year in weightlifting.
