Packed meeting on north county’s future has a ‘keep it rural’ theme

Baker resident Liz Bears quickly peeled stickers from pages and gave them to scores of north Okaloosa County area residents and other folks who filed past her at the Crestview Community Center on Wednesday evening. The message on the stickers read, “Stop North Okaloosa Run Away Growth.”
Hundreds of people attended Wednesday’s meeting in Crestview to share their vision for the north county’s future.
