NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARINGS
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, pursuant to Florida Statute, the City Code, Land Use Regulations and Operating Policies, the City of Crestview proposes to adopt the following Ordinance set forth by title.
A Public Hearing will be held before the Planning and Development Board on Monday, June 6, 2022, at 6:00 p.m. or as soon thereafter as possible to consider and make recommendations to the City Council regarding the request. The purpose of the public hearing is to receive comments from the public and make decisions regarding the above matter.
Public hearings for the first reading of the Ordinance will be held before the Crestview City Council on Monday, June 13, 2022, at 6:00 p.m. or as soon thereafter as possible. The second and final reading will be held before the Crestview City Council on Monday, June 27, 2022, at 6:00 p.m. or as soon thereafter as possible to consider enactment of the Ordinance.
All meetings will be held in the City Hall Council Chambers, 198 Wilson Street North, Crestview, Florida 32536.

AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF CRESTVIEW, FLORIDA, VACATING AND ABANDONING THE ALLEYWAY LYING BETWEEN LOTS 1 THROUGH 3 AND 7 THROUGH 9 OF BLOCK 12, EDNEYﾒS THIRD ADDITION, AS SHOWN ON THE PLAT RECORDED IN PLAT BOOK 1, PAGE 126 OF THE PUBLIC RECORDS OF OKALOOSA COUNTY, FLORIDA; PROVIDING FOR UPDATE OF THE CRESTVIEW BASE, ZONING AND LAND USE MAPS; PROVIDING FOR REPEAL OF CONFLICTING ORDINANCES; PROVIDING FOR FILING OF THIS ORDINANCE WITH THE CLERK OF CIRCUIT COURT OF OKALOOSA COUNTY; PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
All citizens and interested parties are encouraged to attend the meetings and to provide written and/or verbal comments on the items under consideration. Written comments will be heard and considered and will be made a matter of public record at the meeting. The files pertinent to the above items may be inspected by the public at the Community Development Services Department, City Hall, 198 Wilson Street North, Crestview, Florida, 32536 during regular business hours.
No stenographic record by a certified court reporter is made of these meetings. Accordingly, any person who may seek to appeal a decision involving the matters noticed herein will be responsible for making a verbatim record of the testimony and evidence at these meetings upon which any appeal is to be based. (See F.S.S. 286-0105).
Persons with disabilities needing assistance to participate in any of these proceedings should contact the City Clerkﾒs office at (850) 682-1560 at least five (5) days prior to the meeting to make appropriate arrangements.
