Home for a hero

Retired Army Sergeant First Class Ian Prescott is one of many heroes in our midst. But he doesn’t seem to look at it that way. He’s just grateful to be alive and enjoy the support of the local community.

One way the community is supporting him is through the help of the Gary Sinise Foundation, who is building a new house for him in Crestview as part of the Walls of Honor program.

Retired Army Sergeant First Class Ian Prescott is greeted by cheers as he enters the home being built for him by the Gary Sinise Foundation.
