Gators sweep district weightlifting

In what has become as much a signal of the arrival of spring as warm days and blooming azaleas the Baker boys weightlifting team claimed a sixth-consecutive District 1-1A championship on Wednesday.

Led by double wins from Tyson McBride (154), Lane Cato (183), Joseph Blackshear (199) and Leroy Pierce (238) the Gators claimed both the Olympic and Traditional titles at the meet.
