Gators and Bulldogs boys weightlifting set for regional meet
Boys weightlifters from both Crestview High School and Baker will participate in the region 1-3A and region 1-1A meet that will take place on April 2 in DeLand and April 5 in Baker.
Six competitors will represent the Bulldogs in Olympic lifting as Nathaniel Yeaman, Andrew Wahowski, Jun Kawasumi, Eli Anglin, Carson Swotek and Braxton Ratcliff qualified for the regional meet.
Jacob Beckworth was a district champion in the 169 lb. class in both the traditional and Olympic and will represent Baker at the regional meet on Saturday.
