Crestview eyes big-ticket utility work for bypass area

Crestview officials soon might borrow more than $21 million to pay for the construction of water, sewer and reclaimed water infrastructure along the Southwest Crestview bypass and the building of a regional lift station by the Okaloosa County School District’s planned K-8 school.
This west-facing view includes the north-south section of the future Southwest Crestview bypass that extends between Interstate 10 and U.S. Highway 90, as well as the bypass’s east-west connector road.
