In 2021, precinct lines for the City of Crestview were redrawn because of an increase in population density.
This resulted in council members Joe Blocker and Shannon Hayes running against each other in Precinct 1, along with Thara Larkins in the mid-term general election. Before the redraw, they were in different precincts.
