Changing the face of Crestview

Construction on the single-largest infrastructure project Okaloosa County has ever undertaken is progressing well.

The Crestview southwest bypass started construction back in 2020 after about 15 years of planning. Roads are starting to take shape as asphalt is going down, noise walls are being installed, a new bridge and interstate exchange are under construction and lane shifts are happening.

Pilings have been set and a new bridge is starting to take shape along what will be the new Fallen Heroes Way roadway, which is part of the Crestview southwest bypass project.
