Bulldogs ready for spring football

Crestview head football coach Thomas Grant isn’t getting around very well these days after having surgery to repair a broken ankle and some ligament damage.

But even slowed by injuries, the second-year Bulldog boss is ready for things to get started on Monday when teams across the state open spring football practice. Crestview concludes spring practice with a spring game against Pensacola High School at 6 p.m. on May 19.

Lazarius Parks breaks free for the game-winning touchdown against Niceville in the first round of the playoffs last season on Veteran’s Day. Parks returns for his senior season and will see action at running back and wider receiver.
