As is the case with many facilities throughout the Okaloosa County School District, Baker’s track had about run its course. The home of Gator track teams at Ben Griffith Memorial Stadium has received the much-needed overhaul.
It didn’t take long for workers to strip the Baker track to the foundation.
Work crews lay down the new asphalt for the Baker track. Before the start of track season a final coating and lane lines will be applied to the surface.
