An ‘icon of the city’ passes

Dr. Patrice Williams-Shuford used the theory of the butterfly effect to describe the legacy and impact her friend and business partner, Dr. Naomi Barnes, had on the community. The butterfly effect states that small things, like the flapping of a butterfly’s wings, can have large impacts far away.
Dr. Naomi Barnes received the Citizen of the Year award from the City of Crestview in August 2014.
