The crash occurred at 12:27 a.m. Sunday, according to a Florida Highway Patrol report issued today.
“The driver and sole occupant of the vehicle has been declared deceased on scene,” officials said in the report. “The investigation is currently ongoing.”
The vehicle was an SUV. The driver was not wearing his seatbelt, according to the report.
It is the FHP’s policy not to release the names of traffic-accident victims.
