The accident occurred at 6 p.m. Friday at the intersection of U.S. Highway 90 and Hare Street, near Bob Sikes Airport.
According to the FHP report, a 22-year-old Crestview man was driving a pickup truck eastbound on U.S. 90 in the inside lane, and the woman was walking northbound in the eastbound lanes of U.S. 90 toward Hare Street.
The woman walked into the path of the truck and was struck by the vehicle’s left front section, the FHP reported.
It is the FHP’s policy not to list the names of traffic accident victims.
