Area athletes shine in regional track meet

Track athletes from around the area had strong showings in both the 1A and 3A regional meets on May 2 and May 3 at Pine Forest High School.

William Sloan from Baker won the region in the boys javelin with a throw of 183 feet, while Kaitlyn Stephens also from Baker, won the triple jump with a mark of 35.6 feet.
