Baker baseball advances to district semifinals

The Baker baseball team used a 10-run sixth inning to beat Paxton 16-6, in the opening round of the rural district 1 tournament on Monday night.

After trailing 6-2 in the second inning, the Gators rallied for four runs of their own in the third to tie the game at 6.

Joel Morse had three hits and scored four runs in the Gators victory.
