County still seeks state money to widen S.R. 85

| Tony Judnich
Obtaining state funding for the widening of the often-congested State Road 85 on the south end of Crestview is one of Okaloosa County’s 2025 state legislative priorities.
On Tuesday night at Warriors Hall in Crestview, the members of Okaloosa County’s State Legislative Delegation considered local bills, heard presentations from government entities, and received public testimony on proposals for the Florida Legislature’s 2025 regular session. The members are (L-R) District 1 state Sen. Don Gaetz, District 2 state Sen. Jay Trumbull, District 4 state Rep. Patt Maney, and outgoing District 3 state Rep. Joel Rudman.
