The 188th Oktoberfest in Munich, Germany ends on Oct. 3, but the festival of German food, drink and frivolity continues on this side of the Atlantic.
City of Crestview Cultural Services Specialist Brian Hughes participated at an Oktoberfest in Munich, Germany, where he sported a traditional Bavarian farmer’s felt hat, wore a Lebkuchen cookie with an affectionate greeting and toted a “mass,” or one-liter beer glass. Crestview’s Oktoberfest is on Saturday, Oct. 14 at the Bush House/Crestview History Museum.
