Rain changes summer approach for Bulldogs

Local football coaches are likely to feel like calling out the old childhood chant of, “Rain, rain go away come again another day,” as showers seem to be falling more often this summer and at a heavier than usual pace. This is the time during the summer when most teams are going through summer conditioning drills, but Crestview and teams throughout the area are being forced inside as rain and lightning are causing havoc with normal summer plans.
Crestview football coach Thomas Grant has been forced to get creative as unusually heavy rains have forced his team inside for many days of summer practice.
