‘Operation Cold Turkey’ nabs nine

Members of the Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office Special Investigations Section during November conducted an undercover operation targeting adults looking to meet minors online for sexual encounters.
The suspects arrested in ‘Operation Cold Turkey.’

“Operation Cold Turkey” is part of an on-going effort by the S.O. to protect children from predators looking to do them harm. The suspects in this operation traveled to a predetermined locations with the intention to meet the juveniles but were ultimately taken into custody by S.O. investigators.

Domingo Sebastian, 20, of Crestview, Joiarib Fernandez, 35, of Crestview, Marquee Lewis, 21, of Crestview, Sampson Graham, 33, of Crestview, Edwin Huggins, 39, of Panama City Beach, Ancel Sterling, 41, of Fort Walton Beach, George Davis, 36, of DeFuniak Springs, Christian Reyes, 32, of Fort Walton Beach, and Donavon Spears, 23, place of residence unknown, are charged with traveling to meet a minor for sex, use of a computer to solicit a minor for sex, and use of a two-way communication device to commit a felony. Spears faces an additional charge of possessing a firearm during the commission of a felony.

The Sheriff’s Office thanked the Crestview Police Department, Fort Walton Beach Police Department, Niceville Police Department, Santa Rosa County Sheriff’s Office, Florida Department of Law Enforcement, and the Office of Special Investigations for their assistance in the operation.
