The new branch, which is PenAir’s first location in Okaloosa County, stands at 1345 Industrial Drive, next to Publix on the north end of town.

During the ceremony, PenAir officials gave a $5,000 donation to the nonprofit Crestview Area Shelter for the Homeless.

In light of recent grant funding cuts, the donation will allow the shelter to continue helping its vulnerable neighbors, shelter officials said.
