Trio arrested in FWB drug bust

Three people were arrested on various drug charges after a narcotics search warrant was executed on Tuesday at a residence at 111 London Ave. in Fort Walton Beach.

The warrant was executed by members of the Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office Multi-Agency Drug Task Force, with the assistance of the Special Response Team. During their search, investigators located fentanyl and drug paraphernalia, S.O. officials said on Wednesday in a news release.

James Carter, 60, of Fort Walton Beach, was charged with keeping a public nuisance structure for drug activity. Kimberly Blair, 50, of Fort Walton Beach, was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia. Misty Woodhams, 42, of Fort Walton Beach was charged with possession of fentanyl and possession of a controlled substance in a detention facility. Woodhams also had an active felony warrant for possession of a controlled substance at the time of her arrest.

This is the second narcotics search warrant the Drug Task Force executed this year at this residence.

The Drug Task Force is comprised of members of the Sheriff’s Office and the Crestview, Fort Walton Beach and Niceville police departments.
