An investigation began in April 2024 following a tip from the National Center of Missing and Endangered Children, Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office officials said Monday in a news release.
A search warrant was executed on the Snapchat account of 23-year-old suspect, Jarred Pearce. The account was found to include five child pornography videos, officials said.
On Nov. 7, S.O. investigators executed a search warrant on Pearce’s home at 4226 Carr Road in Holt. His cellphone was seized and was found to contain additional pornography involving a child as young as five years old, officials said.
