Hub City attorney is appointed to UWF Board of Trustees

Paul Bailey, an attorney who works for the Welton Law Firm in Crestview, has been appointed to the University of West Florida Board of Trustees by Gov. Ron DeSantis.

Bailey joined the Welton Law Firm in 2015. According to a news release issued today by the governor’s press office, Bailey is active in his community, serves as an adjunct professor at Pensacola Christian College, and is a registered instructor with the National Rifle Association. He earned his bachelor’s degree in pre-law from Pensacola Christian College and his juris doctor from Regent University, which is based in Virginia Beach, Virginia.

DeSantis also appointed Gates Garcia, Adam Kissel, Scott Yenor, and Chris Young to the UWF Board of Trustees.

The appointments are subject to confirmation by the Florida Senate.
