In Laurel Hill’s March 11 municipal election, incumbent City Council members Mike Blizzard and Amanda Rosen and candidate Shawn Cogan will compete for one of the two open four-year council seats, while incumbent Mayor Robby Adams will face no opponents and will secure another four-year mayoral term.

The qualifying period for candidates began on Monday and ended at noon today. The candidates are elected at large, by the highest number of votes.
The current terms of the three incumbents expire in April.
