Laurel Hill voters to decide three seats in March

The current terms of Mayor Robby Adams and Councilors Mike Blizzard and Amanda Rosen expire in April.

Candidates seeking the four-year mayoral seat or either of the four-year council seats run at large and must be qualified electors of Okaloosa County residing within the city limits of Laurel Hill. All candidates are elected at large, by the highest number of votes.

The qualifying period for candidates runs from noon on Monday, Dec. 30, until noon on Friday, Jan. 3.

All candidates shall qualify with the county Supervisor of Elections office at 1250 Eglin Parkway, Suite 103, Shalimar, or 302 N. Wilson St., Suite 102, Crestview.

The offices will be closed on Jan. 1 for the New Year’s Day holiday and will reopen at 8 a.m. on Jan. 2.
