A 36-year-old man who had active warrants for numerous charges was arrested in Holt on Friday by members of the Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office Multi-Agency Drug Task Force and the Florida Highway Patrol Criminal Interdiction Unit.

The fugitive, Richard Earl Larkins Jr., was arrested at 893 Hiawatha St. He had active arrest warrants for the following charges: driving with a suspended or revoked license (multiple counts), reckless driving, resisting arrest without violence, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, fleeing and eluding (multiple counts), trafficking methamphetamine, possession of up to 20 grams of marijuana, and possession of drug equipment.
The Sheriff’s Office Multi-Agency Drug Task Force is comprised of members of the Sheriff’s Office and the Crestview and Niceville police departments.
