Show your ‘Puppy Love’ on Valentine’s Day
You know your dogger is just aching to visit a museum. Luckily, the Crestview History Museum will welcome families and individuals and their pooches to “Puppy Love on the Porch” from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 14.

For those who lament they are — sadly — dog-less, Crestview’s Animal Services shelter will have some dogs looking for a fur-ever home on hand during the celebration of Puppy Love.
Officers — both two- and four-legged — from the Crestview Police Department’s K-9 Division will be there to greet their fans and answer questions about the division and what its officers do to protect our community. There might even be a K-9 available to pet — with his partner’s permission, of course.
The Cultural Services Division, which runs the Bush House, and the Historic Preservation Board, which operates the history museum, invites the public to bring their own canines to Puppy Love on the Porch and visit the museum. Bowls of water and free dog biscuits will be available.

Visitors are requested to please assure their dogs are leashed during their visit, and that they are comfortable around other people and dogs. Plastic grocery bags will be available in case pups need to “go” outside during their visit.
Experience a little Puppy Love at the historic Bush House and the Crestview History Museum this Valentine’s Day. Come! Sit! Stay!
The Crestview History Museum is in the 100-year-old Bush House at 198 S. Wilson St. It’s open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on weekdays and 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on most second Saturdays of the month. Admission and parking are free. For more information, call (850) 398-5459.
