The school stands at 6261 Old Bethel Road in Crestview.

In a social media post on Thursday, Chambers said he and Bryant “had the honor of presenting the A+ Plaque to Principal Laura King and last year’s principal, now Director of Secondary Curriculum, Holly Tew, celebrating the leadership and collaboration that made this success possible.

The “A” school grade is Davidson’s 19th overall and its first in three years, Chambers said.

“In Okaloosa County, we add a ‘+’ to our ‘A’ because our schools go above and beyond in Academics, the Arts, and Athletics,” he said. “Davidson’s faculty and staff have worked tirelessly over the past four years to achieve these results, demonstrating resilience, teamwork, and an unwavering commitment to student success.

“Congratulations to the students, staff, and families of Davidson Middle School! Your hard work and determination have paid off, and we’re proud to celebrate this achievement with you.”
