The festival is the annual fundraiser for Project Hope Recovery Center and Saving Grace Women’s Home, whose students will raise awareness about addiction and other problems.
Project Hope Recovery Center is located at 3690 U.S. Highway 90, 1 1/2 miles east of the Shoal River. Saving Grace Women’s Home is at 5311 Richard Road in Baker.
Project Hope Recovery Center provides a 12-month, faith-based, residential program for men, and Saving Grace Women’s Home provides the same program for women. The programs teach biblical principles on how to overcome addiction, abuse, homelessness, depression, anxiety, eating disorders, and other life-controlling issues.
Project Hope Recovery Center currently has about 23 students, and Saving Grace Women’s Home has 20, Brooke Fitzgerald, spokeswoman for the women’s home, said on Wednesday.
