Gators softball splits pair of games before district tournament

The Baker softball team split their final two games of the regular season, as they beat Booker T. Washington High School, 26-8, on April 21 before losing to Paxton, 11-8, on April 22.

It was a successful regular season for the Gators as they went 10-9 under first year head coach, Jenna Elmer.

Emily Whiddon leads the Gators in batting average at the plate and strikeouts as a pitcher this season.
